TWO WATERS WITHIN: Afra-fusion Dance Workshop

Drawing from traditional African dance from Guinea, Cuba and Brazil, Heather will weave you into her story as a Womanchild. Taking you on a dance journey into the two waters of the feminine being - ocean, river; teacher and student; mother and child, we will explore the feminine dyads that osciliate and coexist within us and the liminality ensued as she strives to appease the needs of the inner child to be playful and innocent, loved and nurtured; and the inner mother's duty to create, give, educate, nurture, protect and love both others and herself.
