Our food dances!
This workshop explores the world of food through rhythmic and choreographic elements related to the cultivation, harvest and preparation of food from specific West African and Cuban living cultural contexts.
Heighten your awareness to food and environmental issues by experiencing, on a somatic level, the acquisition, processing involved to create food, and the strength required to access food in many parts of the world.
Tap into your inner feminine and masculine warrior harvester and nourish your rhythmic awareness, agility, and creativity through these activities most precious to the survival of humankind. Suitable for all ages, abilities and experience.
This workshop has previously been offered in Tāmaki (Auckland), Whanganui and Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington).
